Virtual CISO (vCISO)

Senior security leadership without the full-time hire

Growing companies hit a point where security decisions outgrow ad-hoc IT calls — customer questionnaires pile up, insurance renewals ask harder questions, and nobody owns the roadmap. As your fractional CISO, Safe Passage Security gives you steady, engineer-grounded security leadership sized to your stage.

What you get

• A practical security roadmap tied to your actual risks, customers, and compliance goals — reviewed with you every month.
• Ownership of the unglamorous essentials: security policies, vendor reviews, incident response planning, and staff awareness.
• Customer trust support: questionnaire responses, security reviews, and calls with your enterprise prospects.
• An incident-ready posture: defined response roles, tested playbooks, and someone to call who already knows your environment.

How engagements run

Monthly retainer with a set number of days, a standing cadence with your leadership, and async access in between. Start with a 90-day plan — most clients see the questionnaire and policy backlog cleared inside the first quarter.
